We do have the largest inventory of bikes and parts in Atlantic Canada but unfortunately we can’t stock everything. If there is something you want, but don’t see on our website, or in our store, please let us know and we may be able to get that item for you.
Online Prices and Availability
We make every effort to make sure our pricing is accurate, correct, and current on our website. We also strive to have the current inventory up to date in description, technical detail, and stock status, but we do occasionally make a mistake. Please verify the stock status before you come into the shop. If you see any pricing mistakes, please let us know.
Supplier Direct Product
Many of the products on our website are provided via a live feed from our supplier’s. This allows us to offer you thousands more options than we can possibly offer within store.
There are several different product status labels that you will see on our online store.
Please note these stock status labels are for lead times for the product to arrive in our building.
In Stock – This item is in our shop. Please call if you are dropping in to pick up. We can confirm we have it, and we can set it aside for you to pick up.
In Supplier Warehouse –Typical turnaround is 5-8 business days before we have product in hand and ready for In-Store Pick-Up or shipment to your location.
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be back ordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. We will send you a confirmation email before we ship the available products, about the back ordered product(s).
Online Shopping - Local Pick-up
You can shop 24/7 and pick up at our store location (directions) during regular business hours.(store hours) Most orders will be ready for pick up within one business day. Some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site warehouse or assembly.
You will receive an email once your order is received in our system and is being processed. You will receive another email confirming when your order is ready for pickup in our store. If you need an item right away please call us to confirm that the product is available.
Please allow up to 24 hours for order processing.
After receiving your order pick up email, enter the store and engage any of our staff in helping you to pick up your order Please come prepared with your order confirmation either in digital or printed format. You will need to bring picture ID to pick up your order.
Please pick up your order within 7 days of pick up email receipt. Orders must be picked up within 30 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged with balance returned to in-store credit under your customer account
Online Shopping – Ship to you (Halifax Peninsula)
You can shop 24/7 from our online store and have it delivered to your door for free on orders over $100 if you live on the Peninsula of Halifax. We will deliver small packages via courier, and anything larger in our Shop Truck.
Ship to You Across canada
You can shop 24/7 from our online store and have it delivered to your door. Our online orders ship from our store location Monday to Friday. We do not process or ship online orders on weekends or statutory holidays. Most online orders are processed within 24hrs of order placement. Some orders may require additional processing time due to the size of the order, location of the order products or volume of orders being processed. If your order is delayed, we will contact you via e-mail with an estimated order ship date. Shipping costs will depend on packaging size, weight and dollar value.
Cyclesmith offers ground shipping within Canada. We feature Canada Post (traceable) shipping on most online purchases. We cannot ship any items via Canada Post that the dimension are greater than 1m or weigh more than 30kg. If this is the case, we will need to confirm shipping quote from either Canpar or Purolator.
International Shipments (United States and More)
There is no easy way to quote pricing for international shipping so please email us with your inquiries and we would be happy to assist you in getting the product you are looking for.
Orders going to international destinations are shipped by either Canada Post or UPS. Orders shipped outside of Canada are not charged Canadian taxes. Orders do pass through customs and are subject to the destination Countries’ import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. A customs invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees. We are unable to provide estimates for customs fees. Check with your local customs office for more information.
Online Bike Purchases
Unfortunately we do not sell bikes online. You can certainly purchase a bike online and pick up in store. If you would like accessories on the bike, please add them to the sale and we can have them installed for you. We can arrange delivery of bikes within HRM. Please contact us for more details.
You will be contacted if any purchased items from your order are found to be unavailable due to an inventory issue. When you submit an order through the online store, your credit card is pre-authorized for the total order cost (including applicable taxes and shipping). Prior to shipping your order, you will only be charged the amount that reflects the total cost of the shipped item(s) and applicable taxes and shipping costs. Out of stock ordered items that are cancelled will not be included in the final charge to your card. We reserve the right to cancel any online orders due to any security reasons.

We are not able to offer refunds on bicycles. Any bicycles returned will be subject to inspection, and if found to be in perfect condition, it could be eligible for store credit or exchange.

To complete an online return, please contact us with the proof of purchase, and reason for return. You will be responsible for shipping the item back to us at your cost. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will receive an email from us with a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please ship the item(s) back to our Location. When shipping we suggest using a traceable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether we approve or reject your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and an email will be sent indicating the refund.
Damaged in Shipping
All of the items that we ship are in new and un-used condition unless otherwise stated in their online product description. If a package is delivered to you in damaged condition you have the option of refusing or accepting delivery. If you choose to accept the damaged product, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for return shipment of the damaged item(s). Please try and leave the product and package in its original form from when you received it. This will assist our claim submission to the shipping company. We will do our best to make sure you get a duplicate item(s) in un-damaged condition as quickly as possible (subject to availability).

In the unlikely event that you receive your order and there is product(s) that do not match your order confirmation, or there are products missing from your order, please contact us immediately and we will get you the right product (subject to availability) as quickly as possible and arrange for return shipment of the incorrect item(s).
Did you order the wrong products?
If it happens that you accidently chose the wrong size, colour or product we will gladly accept returns on all products up to 30 days after the order was placed. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. See Online Return Policy above.
Warranty claims are processed through our suppliers and we are subject to their discretion. If you believe you have a warranty situation, please contact us. You will need the original purchase receipt, photos of the defect in question, and explanation of the issue and how it happened.
